Centre’s News Broadcasting Team (NBT) produces news bulletins, feature programs, and documentaries, and the best of works get airtime on JAIN TV.
While the print module pivots on the regular production of newspapers and magazines, the radio vertical equips students with broadcast skills to create and compose feature programs for the audio medium.
With the advent of social media and multimedia journalism, equal time and space are accorded to these modules, too. As part of digital marketing, the students are instructed about SEO, SMM, SMO, Analysis etc.
Centre’s media training and placement cell ensure that the students are given the best available opportunities to help them get a job easily. The NBA students have been previously placed at esteemed media organizations such as NDTV, Fever 104 FM White ladder and Perfect Relations to name a few.
Besides theoretical and practical knowledge, the NBA also encourages its students to participate in programs on leading news channels such as News Nation, NDTV, India TV etc. where students get a sense of how a real news set up functions.

The NBA Broadcasting Team comprises experienced faculties who guide the selected group of students in the production of various bulletins and documentaries.
These programmes are produced with the use of the latest equipment available in the studios on campus. The quality work gets featured on JAIN TV, giving students maximum exposure, appreciation, and encouragement.
When it comes to practicals related to Print Media, students publish magazines and newspapers under the guidance of faculties. In addition, students are also trained for voice-overs, jingles and various radio programmes in the radio lab.
Experienced and well-trained faculties guide them and help them create radio shows, ads, features, and docu-dramas.
Get hands-on experience on the latest media gadgets such as Apple editing machines, fully functional uplink and downlink set-up, art graphics and animation system in the computer lab.
Faculty members guide students on software such as Quark Xpress, Photoshop, PageMaker, Coral Draw, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Audition and Adobe Premiere, to prepare them as per industry’s requirements.
NBA has a library with a plethora of books on various Mass Communication, Journalism as well as Business Management subjects that are a part of the academic process. In addition, students can also read various novels, short stories, poetry and other relevant books here.
All books have been carefully selected to give the students holistic exposure. The facilitators help students develop their research skills, provide expert guidance and advice on how to find and use the information they need during the course.
